Joan Martínez
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at UC Berkeley. I work on topics in labor, education, inequality, and applied econometrics.
My research studies the causes of inequality in education settings, human capital development, and labor markets. A second research agenda focuses on developing and testing large-scale interventions and policies to alleviate disparities in America and developing countries.
Currently, I am WAPPP Doctoral Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Before my doctoral studies, I was an evaluation specialist in Peru’s Ministry of Economics and Finance. For more information, please see my CV.
I am in the 2022-23 job market and will be available for interviews.
